Description
Wire brushes are generally used for light de-burring, cleaning and removal of rust, paint or other surface materials. Wire brushes work differently from hard abrasives such as grinding discs. Brushes work as an impact tool removing only the target surface layer and leaving the base material intact, they create less heat and therefore do not change the structure of the work-piece material. Wire brushes can be hand held or used on power tools dependent on their shape and design.
